Privacy Policy — TourSync

Effective Date: 4 July 2026

TourSync (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a tour management application for artists and their management teams (“the App”), available on web, iOS, and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it’s used, and the choices you have. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at info@toursyncapp.com.

1. Who We Are

TourSync is operated by a company registered in the United Kingdom. This policy applies to all users of TourSync worldwide, regardless of where you access the App from.

TourSync is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we’ve collected data from someone under 18, we will delete it.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

  • Account details: name, email address, phone number
  • Payment information: processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. TourSync does not directly store your full card details.
  • Content you create or upload: tour dates, contacts, documents, and calendar entries

Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical data: IP address, device ID, device type/OS
  • Diagnostic data: crash logs
  • Usage data: analytics events (e.g. which features are used and how often)
  • Location data: where enabled by you, to support relevant scheduling/tour features

3. Why We Collect It

We collect and use your information solely to:

  • Provide and operate the App’s core functionality (e.g. syncing your tour schedules, storing contacts and documents, calendar sync)
  • Process payments for subscriptions or services via Stripe
  • Diagnose and fix technical issues (crash logs)
  • Understand usage patterns to improve the App (analytics)
  • Provide location-relevant features, where you’ve enabled location access

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build profiles of you for any purpose beyond operating the App.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing or business purposes.

We do work with a small number of service providers who process data strictly on our behalf, under our instructions, solely to help us run the App:

  • Stripe — to process payments securely
  • Cloud hosting and backend infrastructure providers — to store app data and enable core functionality

These providers are contractually restricted from using your data for anything other than providing their service to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

You are in control of your data:

  • You can delete individual content (tour dates, contacts, documents, calendar entries) yourself at any time within the App.
  • You can delete your account yourself, at any time, directly within the App. Account deletion is immediate and removes your personal data and associated content from our active systems.
  • Some information may be retained briefly in backups or where we’re legally required to keep records (e.g. payment records for tax/accounting purposes), even after account deletion.

6. International Users

TourSync is used by artists and management teams worldwide. Our company is based in the United Kingdom, and data is processed in accordance with UK data protection law. By using TourSync from outside the UK, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the UK or in the countries where our service providers operate.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you’re based, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (also available directly in-app, see Section 5)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@toursyncapp.com.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including secure transmission and storage practices. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. App Store Disclosures

TourSync’s data practices are also reflected in:

  • Apple’s App Store Privacy Nutrition Label
  • Google Play’s Data Safety section

These summarise the categories of data collected as disclosed to Apple and Google, consistent with this Policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the App or by email. The “Effective Date” at the top of this policy will always reflect the latest revision.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. TourSync is available to users worldwide, and nothing in this Policy limits any statutory rights you may have under the laws of your own country.
